Now that we have just celebrated the beautiful feast of the Presentation of The Lord in the Temple and enjoyed our Candles we continue to try and recognise Christ in our lives. We can catch glimpses of Him in Scripture and in the quiet of a beautiful catholic Church where He resides in the tabernacle.
It is a little more difficult to notice that He is with us in our illness or worry. But the Incarnation of Almighty God, God becoming a human is meant to be a participation in all of our lives (except sin). Let us pray for those people in our Parish who are experiencing great illness or who are dying or who have died. The Resurrection and Ascension give us a clue as to what we may expect in our own futures.
