The Bortnyki Boys Orphanage - Ukraine

Saturday 9 June at St. Joseph's, Church Hall,  Rustington
A "live link up" via Skype took place with The Bortnyki Boys Orphanage on Saturday 9 June 2012.  This was part of St Joseph's parish annual Summer Tea.  Their chosen Charity this year was The Bortnyki Boys Orphanage - Ukraine.

Fr Dominic has supported the Bortnyki Orphanage in the Ukraine for some time.  The orphanage is situated in Western Ukraine and cares for approximately twenty two young boys.  They are cared for in a home and are provided for through to technical school.  The orphanage is run by Miles Jesu a religious community.  A video showing highlights of Fr Dominic's recent visit can be seen below.
The parish is part of the Diocese of Arundel & Brighton Diocesan Trust registered charity no. 252878.      www.dabnet.org
